Creating new Controlled Documents

You find the controlled documents in the project tree in the "Project, Reports & Controlled Document". In order to create a new controlled document you can create it like any other item in the project. You start with predefined document sections or an empty template to which you add some sections. You also enter the document name and id.

Afterwards you can add, remove or re-order sections and create the document: (see Live Sections and Static Sections for a list of section types and options)

The document shows up in the tree like any other item. If you select it, you can see and modify the document:

Tip: You can send the item's URL by mail to other people to have easy access to the same document.
